Why change your springs?
Performance minded MINI drivers want the best they can get! The MINI Cooper factory set-up is very good but is still a compromise for absolutely all drivers, even those that will regularly load four adults or only drive their MINI Cooper or MINI Cooper S to the theater. These performance springs are designed for a moderate 1.25" drop in the front and rear in order to keeping your OEM stance while lowering your vehicle's center of gravity.
More importantly, these springs offer a setup of progressive rate springs in the rear while keeping linear rate springs in the front in effort to create a more drive able and less tail happy vehicle. Wound with induction heated steel of high tensile strength and chrome silicon vanadium alloy, Craven Speed is able to achieve reduced spring weights with a high material strength.
