The MINI Cooper Turbo Blanket by Forge Motorsport is the solution for isolating the radiant heat produced by your turbocharger. Specifically designed for the Mini stock turbo charger, this turbo blanket is essential in protecting and prolonging the life of your engine components. The stock Mini heat shield is inadequate and can potentially result in warping the standard air scoop located in the bonnet. That's where the Forge Motorsport FMTUBL4 comes in.

This innovative design keeps the heat of the exhaust gases contained within the hot side of the turbocharger, away from the cool side and the intake path. This not only helps reduce turbo lag but also lowers air intake temperatures, resulting in more power for your Mini.
It's important to note that a turbo blanket may lose its flexibility over the first few heat cycles as the material cures. Once fitted, it should not be routinely removed to prevent damage to the blanket.
